, I do. Nuts are the foods I really miss and crave. I grew up on a farm with pecan trees. I loved picking pecans and eating them raw or in pies and other baked goods. Since I developed food allergies in 2008, I get ulcers in my mouth if I eat pecans or any other nuts. I manage cravings by eating alternatives that don't contain nuts. Fortunately, I can eat pumpkin and sunflower seeds, so those are a go-to snack for me. I also bake allergen-friendly apple and pumpkin pies instead of pecan pies.
