My Life with Allergies

I've had allergies for as long as I can remember, I just wasn't sure that they were allergies until I couldn't breathe. From constantly sneezing, my eyes constantly running, skin getting itchy and so clammy that I have no choice but to keep myself lotioned, I've even had some crazy reactions where I wound up in the hospital because I couldn't breathe. At first, the doctor thought that I was asthmatic but after so many tests were run I was found to just have several allergies, from grass to pollen to grass to different types of trees. Even different kinds of seafood have set my allergies off so bad that I wound up in the hospital to not only have to watch where I hang out but also what I eat. So I have also had to watch what I do with and give to my children because both of them have also had issues with allergies as well.

  1. Hi - thank you for sharing your story with us! It must be a challenge having to navigate multiple types of allergies. May I ask what your treatment plan looks like? Do you think it's working well for you or do you still experience intense symptoms? -Alexa (Allergies.net moderator)
