Food companies of which to be aware

I just had an interesting AI discussion on walmart.com about El Monterey frozen taquitos. The ingredients list on the box does not list the same ingredients as the list on the Walmart website, and the avatar tried to give me excuses for why that is happening. One is listed with sodium hexametaphosphate, and the other is not. That’s the difference that I noticed but there are probably others. This obviously means that we cannot trust the company to tell us what is actually in their food. The avatar instructed me that it’s important to trust the ingredients list on the website rather than on the product, which to me sounds rather self defeating as well as unscrupulous. Here is part of the exchange: Exchange with avatar on Walmart website concerning El Monterey frozen taquitos

  1. Thanks for sharing this experience you had, ! I am a bit baffled and concerned by what you learned and I frankly don't know what to trust -- the ingredient label on the box or the ingredient list on the website. Heck, maybe we should view both ingredient lists with some healthy skepticism!
